Q. Why should I use Precision Concrete Cutting?
A. We provide you with good old fashioned service combined with years of experience, knowledge, quality precision concrete cutting & drilling and some of the lowest prices on the Gold Coast. We appreciate your business and are therefore committed to helping you, not only with your concrete cutting and core drilling but with any questions and advice pertaining to your job that will help it run smoothly.
Q. Where are you located?
A. Our office is based in Coomera on the Gold Coast; however we are a completely mobile business, so we come to you. We cover the entire Gold Coast region from Tweed heads in the south to South Brisbane in the north and everything in between.
Q. Will you travel to other locations?
A. Yes. Although our main are is the Gold Coast we often undertake work in areas such as Ipswich and Beaudesert, northern suburbs of Brisbane and even as far south as Kyogle in NSW.
Q. Who do you cater for?
A. Whether you’re concrete cutting or drilling needs are for residential, commercial or industrial, we can provide specialised services for them all. You may have a simple home improvement or maybe a major industrial factory, however big or small rest assured we can accommodate your needs.
Q. Do you remove the concrete?
A. No. We will however at your request cut the concrete into manageable sized pieces for you. Please ask for this in your quote and we will ensure you are quoted accurately.
Q. Is there dust or mess?
A. Whilst all care is taken to reduce the amount of dust/mess produced during cutting or drilling it is recommended to cover with drop sheets or plastic all area’s you want to remain clean. We do use water while cutting which does reduce the amount of dust produced. This however produces a slurry liquid which depending on what and where is being cut or drilled can be vacuumed up using our wet-vac. Please request this in your quote if you would like the wet-vac included.
Q. What core sizes do you have?
A. Our cores range in size from: 6mm (to drill tiles for bathroom fixtures etc.), 16mm up to 250mm.300mm, 350mm, 400mm & 450mm are also available are upon request.
Q. What cutting options do you have available?
A. Hydraulic, Petrol, Electric & Soff-cut: Ring saw cutting depth 260mm, Hydraulic saw cutting depth 240mm, Petrol saw cutting depth 150mm, Electric saw cutting depth 125mm.Road saw: cutting to a depth of 380mm.
Q. How are the cutting depths charged?
A. Cutting is charged per lineal metre by depth of cut. Please contact us if you would like a quote or alternatively we can provide you with a price list.
Q. How are the coring depths charged?
A. Coring is charged by diameter of core per inch of depth. Please contact us if you would like a quote or alternatively we can provide you with a price list.
Q. Do you cut anything other than concrete?
A. Yes. We can cut asphalt, granite, brick and tile.
Q. Do you grind concrete?
A. No. At this point we are not able to provide grinding services.
Q. Do you pour concrete?
A. No. This is a different specialist field and we advise you to contact a professional in the concreting industry.
Q. Do you locate services under the concrete?
A. No. We do recommend you have a professional locator detect services such as power, water, gas, Foxtel or post tension cables located in or under your concrete before we cut or drill it for you.
Q. Do you have insurance?
A. Yes. We are fully covered.
